Saffron Technologies - Return & Warranty Policy

Thank you for choosing Saffron Technologies for your laptop services, rentals, and purchases. We are committed to providing high-quality products and services to our customers. Please read our return and warranty policy carefully to understand your rights and obligations when it comes to laptop rentals, sales, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and warranty claims.

1. Laptop Sales Return Policy
We strive to ensure our customers are satisfied with their purchases. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your laptop purchase, the following terms apply:

  • Return Window: Returns are accepted within 14 days of the purchase date.

  • Condition of Return: The laptop must be in original condition without signs of wear and tear. All accessories, packaging, and manuals must be included.

  • Non-returnable Items: Laptops that have been used extensively or damaged due to improper handling cannot be returned.

  • Refund Process: Once the returned product is inspected and found to be in good condition, a refund will be processed within 7-10 business days to your original payment method.

  • Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the return shipping charges unless the product is faulty or incorrect.
     

2. Laptop Rentals Return Policy
If you have rented a laptop from Saffron Technologies, the following terms apply for returns:

  • Return Window: Laptops must be returned within the agreed rental period. Late returns may incur additional charges.

  • Condition of Return: The laptop must be returned in good condition, with no damages beyond normal wear and tear. Any damage will incur repair charges.

  • Early Return: If you choose to return the laptop earlier than the agreed rental period, the remaining amount will be refunded based on the pro-rated daily rental rate.

  • Late Fees: Any rental not returned on time will incur a late fee of X% of the rental fee per day.
     

3. Laptop AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) Return & Cancellation Policy
For customers who have signed an AMC for laptop maintenance services, the following applies:

  • Return of Services: Since the AMC involves ongoing support and maintenance, it cannot be "returned" once service has been provided.

  • Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your AMC agreement, you may do so within 30 days of signing the contract for a full refund, provided no maintenance services have been rendered. After the 30-day period, a cancellation fee will apply based on the remaining duration of the contract.

  • Refund for Services Not Rendered: If services were paid for but not yet rendered, you may receive a refund or credit towards future services.

  • Refund Process: Refunds will be processed within 15-20 business days upon cancellation approval.
     

4. Laptop Warranty Policy
All laptops sold and rented through Saffron Technologies are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. Please review the specific warranty terms provided with your laptop. In addition:

  • Warranty Coverage: The warranty covers manufacturing defects and hardware failures under normal use conditions.

  • Warranty Period: Most laptops come with a 1-year warranty from the manufacturer unless otherwise specified.

  • Service under Warranty: If your laptop experiences issues within the warranty period, we will repair or replace it as per the manufacturer's warranty terms.

  • Warranty Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damages caused by accidents, misuse, unauthorized repairs, or alterations.

  • Return for Warranty Service: If your laptop needs repair under warranty, you may return it to Saffron Technologies or directly to the manufacturer, depending on the manufacturer’s warranty policy.

  • Repair or Replacement: If the repair cannot be completed, or if the laptop is deemed irreparable, a replacement unit may be provided at the sole discretion of Saffron Technologies or the manufacturer.
